1 Nov 2005 - £3500 handed over to Babe's big appeal
The donation, the biggest the Club has ever made, is as a result of the massive support the Club received during its Beer and Cider Festival in July, some help from clothing company Gap, and sponsorship of the festival by local businesses.
The Babe appeal is raising money for Children's Hospice South West and their new hospice at Charlton Farm near Bristol, which opens early in 2007. The Rugby Club's donation will go towards the £15 million needed to build, equip and run the hospice.
