12-30     Refuge

Local band of students playing anything from classic to modern and alternative rock, as well as a few original songs written by themselves

 

 

14-00      Scott Davie

An acoustic performer whose singer-songwriter roots combine with blues, rock and folk influences to create a diverse and dynamic set. Distinctive vocals allow this artist to bring a fresh, unique twist to a wide range of popular songs that will appeal to all.

14-45     Chantel

Chantel is a Mezzo-Soprano Classical singer, with ambitions to become known in the South West area and hopefully sing full time professionally. Originally from Wales and now living in Bristol for the last 4 years. 'I feel very honoured to give my services to worthy causes such as Help for Heroes. I am also available for any functions, parties and weddings. You can find me on www.chantelclassical.com

 

16-00      Ivory Crash

Experienced muicians - Glenn Balsam on drums and Mark 'Piano Man' Fevan provide a two man show with a vast bank of music from many influences and from old to new. Ivory crash can be seen at many venues and events in and around Nailsea.

 

 

17-30     Those Crazy Horses

Those Crazy Horses is a new band unleashing their energetic rock which spans generations of great live bands. Their set weaves through songs that have endured the test of time, punching through an eclectic mix of guitar driven numbers that will entertain any fan of the genre. Moving from 60’s forerunners who defined the sound of rock, such as Led Zeppelin and Cream, through the revolutionary anger of the Clash and the Jam in the 70’s, the 80’s power of Aerosmith and Blondie, the 90’s diversity of Stereophonics and Pearl Jam, through to the modern torchbearers of the Foo Fighters and Muse. 

 

19-00     The Cringe

Local rock band 'The Cringe' continue on their self assigned mission to bring the music of Led Zeppelin back to the people of Nailsea.

 

20-30     One Night Only

One night only perform litterally for tonight only. Made up from previous beer festival, now defunked, favourites 'Clause 40' with a few additions on keyboards and saxaphone. The band have rehearsed tirelessly to provide a close to proceedings on Saturday night with a 'party time' set list.

12-30      The Whirlwinds

A vibrant, established rock 'n' roll band from Bristol. During 2009 they toured Europe twice aswell as music academies and music bars across the UK."

 

14-00      SiX

SiX are a popular local function band who perform anything from Motown and Soul and Pop and Rock. Consisting of a three piece band fronted by three female vocalists, SiX are always a crowd pleaser. www.six.moonfruit.co.uk

 

15-30      Corvus

a four piece local rock covers band conceived and bred from Nailsea and Backwell RFC. 'Corvus' is the latin genus of the 'Raven' - the symbol and nick name for this very club. Watch, listen and enjoy the diversity of rock music, the familiar guitar riffs and inspiring solos!. Let your hair down, thrash your air guitar and come and join in the fun!

 

17-00     Dicey Rileys

No silly hats, no silly costumes - just real Irish music, played by real Irish people. From Whiskey in the Jar through Molly Malone to The Irish Rover, the chances are you'll know them all, and sing them with us. A serious sing along for a serious party !
